I put the translate code alone in a 140 px right-hand panel. It holds the permanent Translate block (I centered it inside the panel one break down from the top) and the floating block likewise stays inside the panel with a part extending into the right margin, and it moves up and down on scroll alongside the translated text. Very convenient for users as it covers no text yet by hovering their mouse to the left of the floater they can see the original. Unfortunately, I know of no way to fix the location of the floater inside the main panel though it may be possible to anchor it inside some kind of container. However, that would defeat the floater's purpose to serve as marker for displaying the original wherever the reader might be.
