We are running Project Server 2010 on a SharePoint 2010 platform.

We don't use timesheets, but instead resources update projects using the task sheet, entering actual hours and hours remaining for projects. I am the project manager for most of the projects and I have an automatic approval rule set up to approve and publish updates.

Everything has been going fine for a number of months, but I am suddenly having problems with one project.

Resources update their tasks and submit as usual. However, rather than automatically publishing, the tasks sit as "accepted" on the Published database.

Once I go in to the project and save and publish, the actuals dissapear completely from project and from the users view in the task sheet on PWA.

i have gotten round this once by renaming the project and then saving a copy as the original project name and again, for about a month, it's worked fine. But now it has gone again.
