Windows Media Encoder 9 had a great Visual C program in its SDK that allowed for the scheduling of encoding sessions.  So far I have not been able to find this for Expression Encoder 4 (or any version of EE for that matter).  The scheduler for WME 9 was perfect as it overrode all prompts and ran the encoder in the background.  Does anyone know if this exists for Expression Encoder 4?  I appreciate any help.

We do not ship a sample that does this currently, but there are samples on how to write a command line app.  There is also a watch folder sample that runs from the service.  You should be able to use either of these apps and standard windows API to create an app that acts like you want.
