We have successfully crawled some folders on a file share and the logs show that we have 8000 (ish) successes and 6 errors.

However, whenever I try and use this content source within a search scope by adding it as a scope rule, the scope shows zero items in the items count and user searchs yield no results.

This has happened on a couple of occasions. Anybody come across this before or have any fixes/suggestions?
