I have converted a previous version of ASP.NET application to run in ASP.NET2.0. The application uses the crystal reports, which comes along with Visual Studio.NET 2005. From my machine, the reports are launching fine.

When I deploy the application to one of development regions, I get an error saying "Unable to load CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=10.2.3600.0,..."

When I installed Visual Studio.NET 2005, the corresponding versions of crystal assemblies also got installed.

In the development region, I have just installed .NET Framework redistributable. How do I deploy the crystal assemblies for .NET2.0.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can either use the msi that is installed on your development machine under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Bootstrapper\Packages\CrystalReports

 

Or you can use the merge modules to create a deployment package available from http://support.businessobjects.com/downloads/merge_modules.asp#07
