I have a Project web App created to use 'Claims based authentication' and tested my PSI extension service. I couldn't make it work from Client App but it works in Internet Explorer.  I followed this article to configure my service.

So I have created a new Project Web App in sharepoint to use Windows Authentication. My client App works fine with Windows Authentication enabled Web App.
