Hi Herbert Jahn,

first of all I want to inform you that Custom UI Editor is not a Microsoft Product and it is not maintained by the Microsoft.

It is maintained by the "Open XML Developer.Org"

For your information I would like to inform you that you can use the same Custom UI Editor Tool software for developing in MS Office 2010 to 2016.

it will work in every version.

they should update the button label to inform user about the supported version.

but after Office 2010 they did not made any changes to that.

Note: the button caption "Office 2010 Custom UI Part" is no longer correct since Office 2013 has been released. It should now be named "Office 2010-2016 Custom UI Part" but I do not think they will update the editor for this.
