What I hope this means is this - a template that comes with the product now that lets me post on a webpage a nice full browser sized "client application" with two sections- a smaller window for the live video that's being captured and a larger area to the right where some PowerPoint slides are being flipped through.  It occurs to me now that this could be an Expression Screen Capture output from the presenter's computer that they're reading the slides from.

Live template support does use the existing templates, modified to be used with live encoding and streams. It also incorporates a publishing window to push those templates up to the hosting server. To generate a template, open a live job and once you set the output, navigate to the Templates panel. From there select a template and then press the Generate button. This will give you options of saving the template locally for further modification or publishing it up to a server.

There are no templates in encoder that currently have two viewing windows, but this could easily be acheived by modifying a template in Blend or Visual Studios.
