I have already found a similar thread here. This was for .NET 4.6.1. I want to make sure if something got changed in 4.6.2 and I can make it work.

My requirement is to install .NET Framework 4.6.2 in basic UI mode. I am using following arguments.

/ PASSIVE / SHOWFINALERROR

In Windows Server 2012 R2 if certain updates are not installed then installation just gets terminated without showing the error. By looking at the installation log I can understand it is because windows is not updated. I was expecting usage of above argument will show the installation error to user instead of getting terminated without saying anything. 

有没有人对此有任何线索？

Does anyone have any clue about this?
