We are using project server 2010. Recently we have came across a scenario, that vendor is providing the MPP plan weekly and that need to be updated to a project server project. So can we open the project from project server in project professional and delete the current plan and copy paste the modifed plan to it. Will it cause any issue later like file corruption?

您始终可以使用更新的计划覆盖现有计划。  如果您在MS项目&中打开计划使用"另存为" &安培; name匹配项目服务器提示覆盖计划或输入其他名称。

You can always overwrite the existing plan with the updated one.  If you open the plan in MS project & use "Save as" & name matches project server prompts to overwrite the plan or enter a different name.

如果您使用的是我的时间表功能，则删除&退出计划将影响时间表。即使您可能会放松项目级别的问题/风险&其他链接对象信息。

If you are using the My Timesheet feature, the deletion & recerate the plan will impact the timesheets. Even you may loose the project level issues/risks & other linked objects information.
