For a cache cluster of 5 web servers, we are currently using a cluster config xml file on a seperate server. What are the benefits of stroing the configuration within sql server rather than an xml file? I am considering moving to sql server but looking if there are advantages to doing so. One I can thing of is the dependency on the server holding the xml file always being available with the cache host starts. I know the db server will need to be available for the database config, but at present if the database server is not available, the site wont operate anyway.
