Hello,

I am new to ADFS and have set it up for a vendor to connect to for SSO.  They are asking for the ADFS web interface url so that they can point users to this server for authentication.  I'm not sure where to find this url.  Can someone help?

By default it would be: https://FQDNnameOfTheServer/FederationMetadata/2007-06/FederationMetadata.xml

So an example would be https://adfs.dell.com/FederationMetadata/2007-06/FederationMetadata.xml (not a valid link. Just for the sake of example.)  Beginning with /FederationMetadata...., the path is the Microsoft default.  The variable is the FQDN you've given your ADFS server to the outside world. 

To find this going forward, open the ADFS snap-in on your server

1. Expand Service
2. Got to Endpoints
3. Scroll to the bottom and you will see and entry with type "Federation Metadata."  That is your url.
