I'm developing an application which has around 20 reports. I have created the reports using CRYSTAL REPORTS WITH VISUAL STUDIO.

I know how to group reports and also has a vague idea about the selection formula.

The client when he click on the report title from the DOT.NET Application, he should be able to see a search box like which further allows him to filter the data and display the reports according to his selection.

For e.g :  if the client need to see the projects details between the September and October, he will select the months from the drop down box. and when he click ENTER, it should display the reports containing the projects details from September till October.

Can anyone tell me how to do it?

The best way is to create parameter fields in the report.  Once you have them created you can add them as part of the record selection formula.
