In the Expression Blend 4 designer (not in XAML), how do I add visual state groups to a style in my resources file? Or to create a new resource from the visual states group? Properties have Advanced options which allow you to do this but I cannot find how to do that for states.

Howdy,

You cant do this is the simple answer.

If you want a collection of States to become part of a Resource, you can edit the Style of an element and add/modify the States there which will be part of the Resource, but only applicable to a compatible element. e.g. a button resource for a button element
