I wasn't sure where to post this, so I decided I would post it here.

I need to know how to make a variable scanner that will scan the file for variables off of my vars list. I then want them to appear in a tree list box. Help? I'm a begginer in VB and VS.

As a jumpstart I will recommend you take a look at VS's CodeModel APIs to parse files and look for variables. But please post it in the mentioned forum which is dedicated to core VS extensibility.
