I have a problem with execution of GAT recipe from Guidance package manager.

I use DSL and GAT/GAX technology. I have a custom project type (let’s say dslProj) which is supposed to have only one item – dsl model file. Gat recipe is referenced to be executed on this model file (it could be executed from solution explorer, DSL model explorer, and model designer). Everything works great if I execute it from this windows, the problem is to execute recipe from Guidance package manager. I choose my recipe there, press "execute" button, it shows me a window "Target element selector", where only model file is available (all other files are colored with light grey and accept button ia disabled for them), so I choose model file, press accept button, but nothing is happened. Note: If I remove model file to the standard project type (for example C# class library) from the dslProj, recipe is executed correctly.

Could you please, help me? Or, may be, somebody knows difference between recipe execution from solution explorer and from "Guidance package manager".

Hi,
Can you post how looks your recipe? If you've have a valid reference, basically there are no differences between the guidance manager and run the command directly.

Maybe if you have a value provider or anything else that are referring to a current select item (ie: the current project item), you could get an exception due to the current selected element could be different, but please, post your recipe, so I'll can help you better.
