new to forums sorry if my category is not close

anyway  ive been developing aspx websites in vs 2012 for a few years

I recently moved to 2015 community

was going great until recently

suddenly new objects do not  create code behind

if I dbl click on it or any existing object it  takes me to the html code even if the object has vb code behind from before this started

It does it for existing projects, new projects

i have reinstalled  vs  searched the web for 2 days and im lost.

any help would be appreciated
