Hi,
I've had multi bitrate streaming working fine using the normal GUI. However, I'm hoping to use EE4 in a fully automated deployment, where we can place videos in a watch folder and then get 4-5 different bitrates out the other side. I'm struggling to get this working however. What I've done is, saved the encoding profile in EE4 in to the presets folder of the FolderWatcherService example that ships with the software, and regardless of what I do I only ever get one video out of this. Looking at the source code, it doesn't look like it's geared to multi bitrate streaming (it looks like all the paths are hard coded, and won't inherit the paths from the XML presets file).
So, therefore, is it a case that the example just isn't multi-bitrate aware, and could be adapted to handle multi-bitrate encoding, or does the SDK just not support multi-bitrate encoding? I'm not very good at C#, I know enough to read the code but not write the code so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, as to what I need to do to get this working.

Hello James,
I believe that is the case. I believe I was advised that would be fixed in the next release but am uncertain. I do think that it does actually encode those streams, but they just get left behind in the 'working' directory. You should be able to just copy them to your output directory manually or modify the code to move any remaining files there.
