I am looking for a APIs available to UWP apps that I can display a whole slew of data.

I am looking to make a basic app that can display the current stress my system is under. I am aware that UWP apps may not be the perfect fit for this because of their sand boxed state, and their limited API's. However the benefits of using a UWP app are great in terms of user experience. Auto updating, clean install/uninstalls, notifications, live titles. So if at all available are there API's that can be accessed to provide this information to a UWP app?
