Follow that, then backup your VS project data and source files and you should be fine.

Do note however, that if you backup from a version of SQL server, you must have at least that version to restore to - and this often includes service packs. So when you re-install SQL server, you will have to ensure it is patched to at least the level you are at now before you start restoring, or it will all fall apart. You cannot restore a SQL2008R2 DB to SQL2008 vanilla without meeting problems in most cases.
