Hi,

Does MS offer a conversion service for upgrading TFS? What I mean by that is the following.

If I have a ~2GB TFS 2010 on-site backup from a 2008 SQL server. Can that be transformed/imported to VSTS 2017 (TFS)?

If that kind of service exists, what would the cost of it be?

Thank you for posting here.

To transformed/import the database  to TFS 2017, you need to backup you database and restore to  new server, please follow the steps to Upgrade your deployment to the latest version of TFS.

To migrate to VSTS, please see Migrate from Team Foundation Server to Visual Studio Team Services. Also for the VSTS Sync Migration Tools here.

Please refer to the recommended upgrade paths from various TFS versions for the upgrade path.
