Hi All,

We have builds based on release branches.

We started getting an issue.

Lets take example to understand this.

Assume we have 2 branches 3.0(Changset is X) and 4.0(Changset is Y)

Now i have queued the build for 3.0(on Chnageset X) but it is picking up the latest changeset of 4.0 and that is Y.

Can we know the reason and solution??

Hi Krishna,

I assume you are using TFVC as version control. Do you have two build definitions? Or you have only one build definition?

If you could clearly state flowing we would be able to help you more.

1. Branch Structure is this like below?

   Project

          - Branch 3.0

          - Branch 4.0

2. Builds 

     A build for each branch ? or a single build definition?

A screenshot of the way you have it and how you queue a build would help reproduce the problem.
