I have created few coded UI tests with VS2017. When I try to run the tests it works fine, but when I am trying to debug the tests every time I get the issue :

Message: Unit Test Adapter threw exception: 
Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.QualityTools.WindowsStore.CodedUITestFramework, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified..

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling visual studio, but the same error pops up every time. 

I has been two days I am trying to debug the issue.

The visual studio version which I have is 15.5.2 

I tried the workaround which is been mentioned here

But still it does not work.

Thanks for your post.

I just updated my VS 2017 to 15.5.2, and when I debugged my test then I got the same error:

so it's really the limitation of 15.5.2.

I'm afraid we still have wait until the coming update released.

The link you posted above is the site where now VS developing Team to collect the VS2017 all kinds of issues, I will also comment it and you also go to Help -> send feedback -> report a problem to open a new thread there.
