I''ve got the same problem. In my case it''s MS SQL XE - but this doesn''t matter. I need to create a database and execute some certain scripts on it. VS Setup Project does not offer such functionality, so I thought about the other setup project type available in VS 2010: InstallShield LE.

There''s also an open-source thing called WiX which has the required functionality - but I''ve never used it before.
