Hello, I want to compare two formview's which has almost same data within it (labels,dropdowns etc),and set to change the colour of that particular label or dropdown which is not same so iam confused to do this do i have to compare two datasets or two formviews directly?

Sounds like you would need to compare data inside of DataSets, not the formviews. Formviews is just a visual rendering of the data. There is no simple way to compare data from DataSets. The best would probably be LINQ to DataSet that allows to query data from DataSets. Otherwise you would need to implement your own code to find compare matching data elements
