Question.  I am saving a file (Pinnacle) in HD 720 H-264 format. Then I bring it into Expression 4.0 and want to change the frame rate from 29.97 to say 25 to make the file size a bit smaller.. I have selected the frame rate and all but the file size remains the same. It appears as it stays as the Source file size.  I have tried a few different things such as change the bit rate and nothing seems to make a difference.  I am just trying to make the file size smaller. Any helps would be greatly appreciated.

Expression Encoder doesn't support frame rate conversion. We just drop frames to hit the frame rate selected by the user. In your case, it's probably going to drop 1/5 to 1/6th of the frames with the settings you selected. To do proper frame rate conversion, you'll need to use a professional NLE.

As for the file size, it is controllable by the bitrate, not the frame rate.
