Are there any guidance papers on whether to use Local Cashe or not? For example, Local Cashe may not make sense for Silverlight while it can work in ASP.NET, I doubt the usefulness of having a Local Cashe for Silverlight apps, can someone share some ideas?

Agree, not the best solution for silverlight as this is a client side application and AFCache was design to work as cache for a webserver (middle tier). Even if it did work I will be afraid of the security repricautions since again, it was design as a middle tier solution.
