I am using the new NavigationView in the Universal Windows Platform. The error I am facing is Windows.UI.Xaml.Markup.XamlParseException on the this.InitializeComponent(); line.

Details on the exception is : 

Cannot add instance of type 'Windows.UI.Xaml.Controls.NavigationMenuItem' to a collection of type 'Windows.Foundation.Collections.IVector'. [Line: 25 Position: 33]'

According to your above information, I think you should pay attention to your code in the xaml, I have tested the code in the official document Navigation view, you can have a check with it. Moreover please make sure you have installed the inside preview SDK, target it on Build 16190 and test it on the device with the corresponding OS version(OS build 16199).
