Can anyone point to a link (or explain) the best way to keep changes to your entities that you have made in the designer after you have created the model.  For example, my column name is order and I want the caption in my datalayer to be "Order Number".  I don't want to have to change the caption back to "Order Number" from order every time I need to refresh the datamodel because I need a new column or table (or whatever).   Does this mean I need to use POCO?  Or is there a way to just refresh a single table/entity?

Sorry - I'm not sure I understand - can you explain what you mean by "caption"? Where are you setting it?

Refreshing the model from the database should not cause you to lose any customizations you have made to the model, that was one of the principles of the design of the feature.
