Is there a way to install the Distributed Cache Client  on Windows XP from AppFrabric? We see that there is an installation for Win Server 2003 but not for XP. We want to install the cache on Win XP to use it with Visual studio for dev and testing before deploying on Win Server 2003.

There is no installation for the cache client to XP. I have not tried this, but you could try copying the assemblies from the Windows Server 2003 c:\windows\system32\appfabric directory. You could place those on your XP machine and reference them from Visual Studio. This would not be a supported scneario, but it would be easy enough to test to see if you could develop on XP.
