When publishing to the server EW4 just began to capitalize one of the folder names for the remote destination. The files are coming from contemporary/local and being published to contemporary/local on the server. EW4 balks and says that contemporary/Local (capital 'L' ) does not exist, which is true. All the other directories and sub-directories publish correctly.

Did you ever call it "Local"?  Are you publishing to an Apache server?

"Local" and "local" are the same name on a Windows PC (and on a Windows server), but are different names on an Apache server.

If you changed the name (the directory itself, or any links involving it) from upper to lower case in EW, it may not think anything changed.

Rename the directory to something else (let EW change hyperlinks), then rename it back to "local" (again, let EW change hyperlinks).  See if that solves it.
