Currently in C++/MFC we are using MS word controller for Automation. We use mso9.dll, vbe6ext.olb, msword9.olb for word automation.
From a document template which has merge fields we use automation to create correspondance documents using Word 2016 and a few older versions.

Now how would this work in the Office 365 setup?
Instead of having MS Office 2016, If i have office 365 setup, how would this work?

Any info/links on this issue would be very helpful.

Hello,

I think it doesn't matter what package you are using. The steps are the same. The difference between the normal package and O365 package is that you could use the latest versions of Office with Office 365 subscription. Generally we don't need to care if the users have O365 subscription.
