I downloaded the trial version of Expression 4.  I created a simple xaml page in Blend 4 and wanted to edit it over in VS2008 to see if everything is working properly.  Nothing happened.  So I then notice I was missing some stuff...so I then downloaded SilverLight 3 tools as well as the SP 1 for VS.  Tried it again and still a no go.  Nothing at all happens.  So I tried to at least open up the solution of this project in VS2008 and I get an error:

Blend 4 works with the VS2010 solution file format. This is the reason you get an error when trying to open the solution in VS2008. VS2008 has some limitations with Silverlight 3 and 4. I don't believe it includes a design surface for SL3 (which is ok if you are using Blend as the design surface), and doesn't support SL4 at all (if I remember correctly).
