问题描述

我们正在尝试将我们的prod TFS集合复制并移动到我们的UAT服务器进行一些测试。  但是，当我们尝试启动集合时，我们会收到以下错误。   TF400783： 无法启动主机'Collection'。  正在服务的主机

我认为发生的事情是Prod集合db在进行备份之前没有分离。此外，在顶部复制备份时，UAT集合db也未分离。  现在我无法分离或附加任何数据库。  如果我尝试分离默认集合

感谢您在此处发帖。

在备份集合数据库之前，需要分离集合数据库，否则会出现此错误。所以我建议您可以尝试使用以下命令首先删除集合:(该命令在我的测试中运行良好）

TFSConfig Collection / delete / collectionName：TeamProjectcollection

然后再次移动并附上该集合，如下面的链接：

We are trying to copy and move our prod TFS collection over to our UAT server for some testing.  However when we try to start the collection we get the following error.  TF400783:  The host 'Collection' cannot be started.  The host in the process of being serviced....

I think what happeded was the Prod collection db was not detached before taking backup. Also, UAT collection db was also not detached when backup was copied on top.  Now I cannot detach or attach any database.  If I attempt to detach the Default collection I see this error in the logfile.

Is there a way I can force this to detach or attach ?  I've tried using TFSConfig detach with no luck.

I am using TFS 2013 and SQL 2012R2.

Thank you for posting here.

Before you backup the collection database, you need to detach the collection database, otherwise you will get this error. So I suggest that you could try to use the following command to delete the collection first:(The command worked well in my test)

TFSConfig Collection /delete /collectionName: TeamProjectcollection

Then move and attach the collection again like the following link:
