Hey guys,

Looking into sending an email from my app to confirm to an Admin or outside user so show that something has been completed in app. Is there anyway in UWP to just use the simple SMTP that I've used in older WPF and Unity apps?

Or is that just not supported in UWP; and if so how do I then go about sending an email.

I would prefer to avoid opening any external URI just to simplify it for the user.

not supported. You can ping back to your server and send email from there though.
