Recently we had the need to setup a build environment for an SVN project that uses externals. These externals has to be checkout in order for the build to work. In the repository section of the build we have disabled the 'Ignore externals' checkbox of the mapping, however, after the build the setting is enabled again. This despite the fact that this should have been fixed in Update3 of TFS2015.

I have tested this issue in TFS 2017 and this has already been fixed. And yes, in TFS 2015 Update3, when uncheck the 'Ignore externals', you save and open again, it becomes checked again.
