hi all,

Can any one tell me how to do compression and decompression of data in window 8 metrostyle app.

I am passing data to my metro app through web service(which is created in VS2005)but data size is high. So, I want to compress data in that service and uncompressing in metro app. Is there any common compression and decompression method between this two (VS2005 and Window 8 Metro i.e.VS11)

Please help me. It''s very urgent.
