I am trying to migrate from Windows Media Server 2003 running Windows XP with Media Encoder 9 to push the content to our media servers.  I have installed a patch that will make the encoders reconnect the push stream if I loose internet connectivity, or reboot my server.  I am trying to set up Windows Media Services on Server 2008 R2, using Windows 7 with Expression Encoder 4 at my locations.  Now when I reboot the server, the encoder gets an error and will not reconnect to the publishing point unless i stop the encoder and start it again.  This seems like a step backwards!
