I am using hosted agent to deploy my application. Everytime i create a release, the release fails instantly with the following error - No plan found for the identifier <<id>> . Even after i abandon this release and create a new release, the agent position shows as 2, queues both releases (abandoned plus the current release) and then starts the actual release. The release takes approximately 2-3 minutes but with this issue, the release process takes minimum of 10-15 minutes. Not sure if the agent minutes are being consumed falsely because of this issue.

The issue is only with Release while the build with the same hosted agent works perfectly fine.

I am using a Windows Machine file copy task, IIS Management and IIS Deployment tasks within the release definition.

There was an outage for VSTS release management. I would suggest you, try to do it again, it might work.
