I utilized the following instructions with two of the Silverlight Templates: Clean and Smooth Streaming Graphing Player.  My system is a Win7 Enterprise, 32 bit (soon to be upgraded to 64 bit) with 4 gbytes, multi core.

No markers appears in the Web site created by Encoder, unless the book icon is clicked for the Clean, and for other players.  The book icon doesn't show up until I click the play button.  This doesn't make sense, if the instructions show an image of a project that has markers on it, shouldn't the instructions make sure that the end user be able to replicate the EXACT mode shown in the image?  It wasn't till about a dozen times that I was able to make this connection.  This seems obsure, and to not constantly compare Expression to other products, things similar to Markers are created almost intutitively.

I got it, I am paid to figure these things out, but if this is part of a total project, the process to figure it out, would be frustrated.

Type any kind of text that you want to be associated with the marker in the Value column. If you have created several markers, and you have to go back to a previous one to modify it, select the marker in the list, and then click Edit.

To extract the marker frame as a thumbnail image, select the Thumbnail check box. If you want each marker to have an associated thumbnail image, select the Thumbnail check box at the top of the column. Note that this image will be visible only if you output your video using a Silverlight template.
