I built a simple web application and tried to add a new data source. I've created the database, which is a .accdb file (Access 2007) , and when trying to add the data source via Add New Data Source Wizard, I found that the function is disabled.

If this is for Entity Framework, you will not be able to use an access database to build a model.

I don't know why the data source capability is disabled.

This sounds like a problem with Visual Web Developer and you  might get some better help in the forums for that - either in MSDN forums or in the forums on the www.asp.net website.
