I''m new to java, the netbeans environment etc I have used VS asp.net environment but i''m no master yet.

what i''m trying to do is create a user friendly java application that reads from two different excel sheets and creates a new by comparing the data from the two only storing the different values.

I have a lot of questions regarding this in terms of whats the structure i should use in doing so? do i dump the code in one main class with the main method? how do i implement the code basically what i want is a step by step guide.
