The application is running file with paradox_local.mdf when i remane the same paradox_local.mdf to paradox_new.mdf and then run the program it gives me this error i have done the reseach on it but failed any idea

You cannot rename a database just by rename the .mdf file. Master Database still holds the actual name.

use sp_renamedb 'old name','new name'

to rename a database.
