Hi,

I have a custom user field and let's call it "Reassigned To" which is similar to the default "Assigned To"  field. Now I would like to send email notification to the user that get's assigned in "Reassigned To" . I couldn't find any way to achieve that. Please advice. Thanks

I'm not sure what TFS version you have, but I'm gonna answer how you can do it in TFS 2015.

First if you are able to see you custom field on new WI forms after upload that means you custom field is working.

Now you can go to your TFS web access go to your profile and click my alerts



then click the hyper link "Advanced Alert Management Page"

Select Work Item alerts from My alerts or Team alerts if you want create for team then select New



As you can see A/C Status is a custom field, now you can select alert options based on your requirements.
