This forum is not intended for anyone who is not a developer yet Microsoft keeps directing me here despite my rudimentary knowledge of the inner workings of Windows. My problem is I cannot secure my PC. People (malicious & socially inept it seems) remotely view, access, control, and change settings on my laptop everyday. I change permissions, disable inheritance and I have an ever growing prowess using command prompts but I am clearly over and outmatched. Worst of all there seems to be very little recourse or direction to go in. I cannot find any substantial instruction to combat this B.S. and Microsoft's approach seems to be to make me feel like I am an illiterate dunce. I have wasted so much time chasing ghosts it seems and I am beyond frustrated. Any good feedback would be relished. Is there a task I could create that would essentially purge unwanted users from my device? Or maybe a command that would wipe out this situation in one fell? Please help!!!
