Hi,

I have just installed the .net 3.5 SP1 on my machine, rebooted, all the usual.

However when I try to create a new .edmx file via the standard add new item right click menu there is no ADO.NET Entity Data Model Template.

I have confirmed that the latest version of the framework is on my machine and that VS has identified it.

I have also checked that all the projects in my solution are targeting the 3.5 framework.

Any ideas why this template is not appearing?

I had a similar issue. It was down to not having VS2008 SP1 installed - once installed all the templates appeared. Drove me nuts for a day!!
