Welcome to the MSDN forum.

Do you use Coded UI Test Project template to test a store app? And you can’t generate the scripts via coded UI test builder, am I right?

As far as I know, we must use Coded UI Test Project (Universal Windows) template to test store app, not Coded UI Test Project template.

And, Coded UI for UWP do not support recording, so we need to add the control one by one, then hand them by ourselves.
