My hardware is HP Pavilion with Win 10 OS, however my request is more general. I need to find a way to address my webcam, it may either be a built in webcam or an attached external device. I googled for half an hour and collected some information. First I went to my Netgear router which is working fine and found 8 MAC addresses and 5 IP addresses in the other column. Three of the MAC's do not have corresponding IP addresses. Then after googling I found this website which purported to reveal the IP address of your camera. It showed me an IP which has nothing to do with what I see in Netgear router.
