I am starting a research project and I want to measure how hand gestures change over time. Therefore, I want to track and record finger and hand gestures, which are repeated over several weeks. Can the Kinect record such a thing? Are there programs out there which I could use to track and measure subtle changes in the same gesture?

Their should be a gesture recording project on codeplex. I would type in kinect on codeplex.com's search bar because their is more then one project devoted to gesture recogition.
