Hi,
I tried to define a new TFS group which have permissions for Analysts. I mean, this group should not see the content of source code. But this group should be able to create work items. Unfortunately, there isn't any existing role definition which has the permissions I stated above. I've set the needed persmissions but it did not work. I just tried to set the same persmission setting with Contributor, but it did not work OK. (I mean, the new role group does not have the same capability with contributor ). Is there any other configuration for a new TFS role group? I would approciate if you could share the way of creating a new role group that provides needed functionalites for an analyst ?

I managed to create a role definition for Analysts by adding the new role group into GroupsAndPersmissions.xml. I tested it by creating a project. But for the pervious projects,
I should also be able to add this new role definition like the other settings by using witadmin command line tool. I could not find any command for this type of setting ; GroupsAndPersmissions.xml. Could you please share the way of applying the new setting to the projects perviously created ?
